Terroir to Table

Wine is so much more than the drink in the bottle. Wine is work, passion, feeling and experience, sociability and opening of all senses. "Terroir – An enjoyable journey into the world of wine” takes us through vineyards and wine cellars, into the best starred kitchens and restaurants, where dedicated experts are looking for the perfect pairing of wine and good food. We meet people from the fields of viticulture, wine trade and microbiology who analyze the conditions that make a wine what it is: unique and individually experienceable. They explore every corner from the ground to the finished wine and take us behind the scenes. "Terroir" is a loving dedication to enjoyment.

The French word “terroir” is literally translated as "area". In the wine language, "terroir" stands for the entire natural environment in which a wine is produced. This ambience includes elements such as soils, climate and topography.
